Hereditary factors, hormonal disorders, puberty, pregnancy, menopause, thyroid and anemia in particular, systemic diseases, previous surgeries, febrile diseases, drugs, mineral deficiencies such as vitamin B12 and D, folic acid, biotin, zinc, iron, selenium, stress, diets with strict protein-calorie restriction and skin diseases of the scalp can cause temporary or permanent hair loss. Hair loss can be classified in two main groups which are common type hair loss and localized hair loss, in other words; hair loss in a specific region and area. One of the most common causes of localized hair loss is androgenetic alopecia (male pattern) hair loss.”
